My name is Jen Keller and I am a Licensed Massage Therapist. I began my journey in healthcare services 15 years ago as a Registered Nurse, spending most of my career in the Pediatric Operating Room and Labor & Delivery. I chose nursing because I wanted to do something in my career that is challenging, interesting, and makes a difference in people's lives on a daily basis. I decided to expand my skill set to include massage therapy because I was fascinated by the healing opportunities that massage therapy had to offer. I believe that massage can be an excellent way to proactively manage one’s health and promote wellness through relaxation. It can positively affect well-being, reduce pain, reduce stress and anxiety, influence movement of the lymphatic system, and it can be a powerful complimentary tool to help manage symptoms of chronic medical conditions.
As a nurse, I have seen what a difference individual attention and a calming environment can have on a person’s health and sense of wellbeing. It is my mission as a massage therapist to provide a relaxing, therapeutic environment where I can integrate modalities such as Swedish massage, Deep Tissue, aromatherapy, and various connective tissue techniques according to your individual needs. I am passionate about empowering individuals to become active in their own recovery and prevention routines. I enjoy being able to bridge the gap between western medicine and the “alternatives,” while providing a safe and nurturing atmosphere in which to heal. My hope is that you achieve your wellness goals by finding the path that feels right to you.
My clients love me because I am compassionate, very down to earth, and I bring a positive and peaceful personality to the massage session. My bodywork is gentle yet strong so that I can access deep into restricted tissues without added discomfort. I have dedicated my career and passion for learning to expanding my knowledge of massage techniques so I can have several tools in my belt to share with my clients. Whether you are in my office to address a specific problem, or to zone out and relax, you can count on me to give you the personalized attention and care that you seek to make it a powerfully beneficial session.
In my free time, I like canning delicious, fresh produce from my garden, going to concerts and watching sci-fi/fantasy movies. Additionally, I enjoy spending time traveling and engaging in outdoor activities with my husband, Casey, and our dog, Ragnar.
